How many links can be built in a day?

For a new domain, what would be the recommended daily quantity?

There is no limit to create backlinks in a day. It depends on the site and focus on quality over quantity.
 
You won't be able to create so many backlinks per day so Google could penalize you for that. It's too expensive :)
 
Depends on link quality and type. Comments / crowd- as much as you want.

no fixed number bro, depends on site age, niche, link profile etc. new sites go slow, like 5-10/day max.

that could work too... The frequency is not everything, google looks at many things when they decide what to do with your site, they check the backlinks frequency, where they come from, how relevant they are, your site's history of backlinks and their anchor texts, and god-knows-what else.

So even 5-10 links per day can still work if everything else is OK, but when I said 2-3 links per day I wanted to keep it safe
