I don't know but today the posts about BHW people getting sick, some scamming and disappearing, others just quitting, the haiti disaster, wars in the middle east, etc has me really wondering how much time a person should be spending on this so called business.

I think it was Rich Dad who said that business owners sometimes have just bought themselves another job that owns them even more than being an employee. I sometimes feel that way about IM.

Its not really passive income as it has to be checked on and maintained almost daily because something might change. Maybe some of it can be automated but I think you really can't get by without at least 3 or 4 hours a day at it, maybe more. Right now I am spending close to 16 hours a day.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to earn good money online, I just don't think I am enjoying it and I don't want to have to spend my life in front of a computer to maintain it.

Personally I spend too much time in front of this computer doing IM related tasks for the amount of money I make at it but as the old saying goes "Build it and they will come!!" LOL for the meaning of that see my signature...... (talk about keeping it simple & stupid -OUTSTANDING!)

    Sometimes none..

    But sometimes 4 or 5.

It can vary, I am a student so i can be really inconsistent sometimes.

You know IM can be an addiction, in this case it might yield a fat wallet, but seriously... I think spending 3-4 hours online researching, chatting, working etc. has become a part and parcel of my life. Need to control it.

P.S. I have been spending 8-9 hours daily since last couple of days... Sigh!

If you want to be successful you must be thinking about your business all day in you head, but on the other hand you must find a niche that you enjoy. Then you dont need to spend 16 hours a day in front of your computer but always in your head.

I've lived on the computer for the past 12 or so years. For this reason, I spend more than 14 hours a day on IM, but I alternate it with everything else I enjoy doing.

Been playing girls and cod4 for the past few weeks. I've been damn lazy ever since Acai went tits up for me. This thread might be the one to motivate me.

Well I used to work like 30 minutes a day posting on CL, and now I haven't worked at all in a while lol.

    My plans for tomorrow are...

wake up at 7:30 AM and go running
Post on CL for 30 minutes at 9:00 AM
Develop a new campaign for 3 hours
at 12 AM post some more on CL
Finish up the homework till 2 PM
Read some good material till 3 PM

Then I'll be going out to a buffet, come back and run my autoresponder.

I better stick to my plan.

It depends. What I do (essentially) runs itself. However much time I want ot spend on IM pretty much boils down to how much research I want to do or how many campaigns I want to start today.

So in essence, it can vary from no time to about 16 hours a day. :D

I spend a lot of time on the computer until I get burned out. Then I go out and enjoy myself.

I work all the time, even when most dudes are sleeping, eating, etc. It's imperative to stay on point, plus I LOVE what I do. You gotta live it up too once in a while though!
