How many diggs to get decent traffic

How many diggs does it take you to get a decent amount of traffic...?
Ive only recently started submitting to digg(i know..i got a lil late..lol) and Ive been adding friends... shouts seem to work to get diggs... so i wanna know how many diggs it takes to get good traffic so i know how many friends to keep adding.

I suppose something in the range of 1 to 2k should be "good" traffic for me... obviously..im looking for a ballpark figure... I can then scale it up based on that.
 
Digg users are funny. Its hard to get a lot fo traffic from them unless your story is on a small subset of topics. You will do better spending your energy on Propeller or Reddit for most topics of interest to the most people. Digg is good fr getting the Googlebot to come calling on your site.
 
For me, anything over 10 digs can generate minor traffic. Once it hits 100+, you will be alright.
 
How does digg compare to twitter in terms of being the most effective in driving traffic?
