    That's hard to determine.

If your site is brand new then start slow. After a little while then start placing backlinks more frequent.

You can also do some pyramid linking to your articles, web 2.0's, blog posts, etc.

You will never find an answer to this question because nobody knows except for the people at Google who create the algorithm.

I used to blast the crap out of sites with scrapebox and never had any problems until Panda came around. Now I have 4 sites that won't show up in the first 500 results that were starting to break page 1. I always blasted a lot of pages throughout the site and never just 1 page and still the sites got hit with some kind of penalty.

At first I thought it was a fluke but it happened to me again and again on new sites. Older sites didn't seem to have the problem. These weren't the only links I created either. I had solid homepage high PR links, high pr blog comments, web 2.0s, etc. But I was creating those slowly and continued to for months after I stopped using SB on the sites. Still many months later and my rankings have never returned.

Since then I've stopped using SB for big blasts to new sites. I'm finding quality links these days are getting me more bang for my buck. Most services that used to work pre-panda aren't very effective anymore. It's more about quality than quantity now.

    You have two main concerns.

    Quality and velocity.

You want to build quality links. Already been stated above.

Velocity, you can build a 1000 or how ever many quality links you want a day but you need to do it everyday for a while and decrease the amount slowly after you have your desired results.

Jericho - you can blast to your articles, web 2.0s and whatever. Backlink your backlinks with SB. You will see improvements in your rankings without running the risk of getting a penalty on your site.

    Hi,

Its extremely difficult to provide this answer.

I personally do 20+posts per hour to promote any site, at my full speed.

I think in this field maximum and maximum promotion is better. How much you done is less.

    So, carry on:)

    All the Best!

    Regards,
    Zaheera

There's no definitive answer to this.

If your site is less than 3 months old, don't go berserk. If it's got a little authority, and is aged, you can build any amount of links as long as you keep it consistent.

In Majestic, you may want to look at your competition's linking patterns in the recent times. If some site is new (i.e. 2-3 months old) and ranking on the first page, this data can be helpful.

As the site is two years old. you can create more backlinks to the specific page, it will not affect the site. But don't blast it with xrumer or scrapebox blast right away. create in pyramid style.

Thats a low competitive keyword. Make 30-50 quality backlinks per day and don't over ping.

The domain is old enough to avoid Sandbox. Along with backlinking keep the contents updated like at least once a week.

Whoa.. that seems a lot to me... these 2k are these xrumer profiles or scrapebox comments?

I only build web 2.0 sites and blast these with all kinds of links... way too cautious to blast anything directly to the money site. But if the serps get stuck i might have to be a bit more aggressive generous with backlinks.

I look at the problem a bit different. I look at how fast my competition is building links and do it just a bit more than they do.

Have you checked out the top ranking site to see where their links are coming from and how many?
I still use scrapebox directly without issue but the sites I blast do not have affiliate links on it,I think this a major issue with panda, obl's.
