I have a crap load of High and Low Pr sites that i want to create backlinks for my websites (over 10k), but i dont know how many to place at any giving time, i have 10 sites (urls).
Thing is, I just dont want to start creating 2k backlinks to one site and send off alarms to the big G. Does any experienced BHers know how many and how often i can post without getting hit? 100-300/day, a week, bi-weekly per url???

My method is anchored links to post on different sites I dont have a clue as how many a day, anyone??

I can't speak for everyone but my websites seem to only get sandboxed within their first year of registration. After that I've gone nuts with backlinks (paying for some large xrumer blasts a few times) and I've been ok.

For sites that are younger than a year I keep it at 100/week.

I agree that the age of your domain(the amount of time the domain has been indexed by google) plays an important role on the likeliness of your site getting sandboxed. If your site is new then I would build just a few links per day... then considerably more for older domains.

I dont think anyone really knows the answer to that question but why dont you try 10 a day, rest, 10 more, rest, rest 10 more. Got it?

also - the place where you buy links is important. if you buy very low quality links - even with 10 links your site can get sandboxed.

my reply might be out of context, but it should help you make the right choices.

I believe that google is a firm believer of the hilltop method ( read up on it in wiki )

with that thinking, I always try to match my linking to similar keyword related sites IE: cars to cars, homes to homes, boats to boats.

I never exceed 30 hilltop links to a site per week. if I have 2000 links then I would have 66 weeks of work.

Now outside of the hilltop, I try to find other similar keywords to work in and I will blend them in.

at this time I currently can link 100 places and have page 1 rank in keywords that have large amounts of competition.

    I hope this bit helps

I think google sandbox is just a myth. If your site can easily get sandboxed by sending it lots of crappy backlinks, I would just do it to my competitors to destroy them.
