In regards to how many auctions you can list on ebay, you need to worry about two things: duplicate listings and selling limits.

You aren't allowed to have two different listings of the same item at the same time, unless there is a difference (i.e. selling the same shirt, except one is blue and the other is red). And you also cannot list more items than your selling limit allows.

Instead of auctions, a buy it now listing with a high quantity would probably be best for you. But you have two other things to worry about still. If your account isn't used to selling many items (or if it's a newer account), ebay/paypal could suspend you for a sudden spike in sales, as crazy as that sounds. At that point you would be asked for invoices among other things. Also, if the item is considered to be high risk (or even medium risk) by ebay, selling too many too quickly could lead to suspension even if your account is used to selling a lot, because again they would want to see who your supplier is.
