    Hello BHW.

I'm going to set up a new site. I've got domain and content and soon i will purchase hosting too.

I've got 30-50 articles (1500 words each) ready to be posted as soon as the site is up and running.

I'm wondering how many articles need to be posted a day for getting the best for SEO and indexing and ecc..

What is the secret source ? Posting all the articles same time or split on weeks ?

    Thanks, have a great day

There is no correlation between how often you post and SEO rankings. You can post one post/week or 10/week. If you don't promote that content you can't rank.

Depends on what you want to achieve, and how you expect to work.

You could spread them out, post one a day, do some seo work on that article,
maybe you prefer to get them all up at once, and then you have all the time left to do seo on the whole site,
and all the articles can have seo done on them, and promoted differently.

Is the site an informational site, or is it more of a blog?

If its informational, then publish all at the same time is ok, if its a blog however, then your articles will best be spread out.

Remember the post date is going to show at the top of the page for most CMS, unless you remove that (pages if wordpress) or use a particular theme.

    Here is my advice:

Post one article after every two days for the first month.

    50-15=35

    Now, downgrade your posting habit.

Post every article after four days for next one-two months or so.

Post the remaining on a week by week basis.

You don't have to do anything just schedule like that.

This will make your site juicy for around 5 to 6 months, in this period start link building.

For sure there is correlation, spiders that finds new content every scanning, will scan more often the site. This works in particular with new sites in first days.

My first idea was a simple amazon aff site, but after checking my competitors i've realized that lacks an authority site about this topic. I'm building a huge pack of orginal and valuable (1500 words) content.

Thanks for the valuable share, will hit a try

Ive done massive research around this and the exact amount of posts google want is: 2.34928452 posts a day for maximun SEO benefits.

You can round it off to 2 posts a day and still get the same benefits, google is not that accurate.

I don't think there's a correlation between posting frequency and rankings. Posting regularly will get Googlebot to visit your site more frequently and index fresh content fast. But that by itself doesn't seem to influence rankings.

It will take your site TIME to really get Google indexing it on a regular basis. If you post 1/day to begin you're wasting your articles mate. Start by posting one a week for the first couple weeks, then a couple weeks later start posting 2 a week. Then a month later 3 a week. Slowly keep increasing posts/week. Only crank up the posts/week high AFTER you have seen that Google is quickly indexing your new posts. Why waste a post if Google only indexes your site once a week, right? At the point where your pages start getting indexed hours after they're posted you know Google is REALLY watching you and you can flood the site with content daily.

This is the way to go.

I would have to say one every day as long as it is high quality. Do not post articles that are not worthy of your site or else it will not really help you at all.

Article posting frequency is a complete retarded myth. There is no proof or correlation whatsoever that if you post once a year or 100 times a day makes any difference at all. Stop listening to all the shit the gurus are feeding you. Yes it's true that sites can get a thin content penalty, but that relates to the overall number of articles in your site not when they were posted.

There are some sites I haven't touched in a year (posted ZERO content on them) and the existing articles are still ranking for their targeted keywords. Google doesn't give a shit how frequently you post, as long as your content is relevant to the search query. Here is something actually that most don't say: the more age your article has the better it is, especially in evergreen niches. Exceptions would occur in constantly changing niches or niches that go viral out of a sudden. 9 times out of 10 you won't be targeting these, so stop worrying so much and start doing!

If it's a new site just go with 1 article every 2-4 days and spread them. Once pubblished an article do seo and social sharing and everything that comes in your head for promotion. Of course don't bombard your articles with 100000 blog comments links.

The problem is Google wants "fresh content." And if you dump 100 articles once a year you will have a lot of content, that doesn't change... but 11 months later your 11 month old articles will hardly qualify as fresh content. An old article can of course rank and keep ranking for years. But that doesn't change the benefit of fresh content.

I'm posting around 3-4 articles per week and then focusing on off-site seo. I don't think there is much point in me posting tens of articles a week without promoting them correctly.

No specific value. it basically depends on your website.
    1) What kind of website do yo have.
    2) How many backlinks you have.
    3) What is your brand value.

it should not be look spam. For fresh and new website start with 2 or 4 articles peer week. But quality content only.

Hello,In my advice in starting weeks you can publish posts per week, after that 1-2 posts per week. That way it will look more natural and your blog will get indexed regularly. Also it will give positive results as each time Google crawler will get something new on your blog.

Apart from that for ranking purpose you have to do some SEO.

    Best of Luck!

Try to gain traffic for you site with the published articles, once you have got regular visitors then days and numbers posts are not a matter, they will regularly follow your site.
