I am feeling down right now and feel like trying all this shit is just a waste of time.

When I look at the people on here there are a few big guys who are doing great surely, but it seems like everyone else dies out.
Meaning, they get to 1,000 posts or whatever and never really return, what happens to them? Do they figure out that they just can't make money this way and start a "real job". Nevermind the ones who get to around 100 posts and never post again, which seems to be most people, but fuck them.

I mean, how many can actually turn this into a full time employment? Is this a dead end? Stupid thread I am sure, but I am just so dam depressed and want someone to tell me otherwise so I can regain hope and think I can actually make a living this way. I don't know though

some ppl spend 2-3 years before seeing any money coming in, and most time when you see money coming in its only a few cent.

yes, of course its possible, its like a offline business, it takes around 2 years to be in profit.

the key is not to give up, if you have problems working alone, maybe do a jv on a project

Nah.. People who disappear usually get big till they don't really have time for the forum :)

A LOT of people are making full income in IM. However, No one ever said its easy.

If you want to know what it takes visit Journey Section and start Reading. BlueMatter reached 70$/day with only one site in less than 3 months and with less than 100 Articles.

Kinlee Are doing pretty good as well with Micro Site and youtube

ZSO is a big dog with 500$/day per site beside his List Building Techniques

R0me0 Reached his 600$/day with 6 Niche sites in 14 months.

Reyone and Danny are making Bank With Amazon and giving all the knowledge they have

Another member reached 200$/day in 45 days but he had a good investment in content.

I know members here who make +22K/day but I won't mention names as long as he didn't

Meathead are very close to 1M/year and Zen already passed 2 Million

A lot of stories and a lot of success. Its your choice to be part of it or just Quit

Social Networks, Reselling Fiverr Gigs, Parking Domains, Amazon Affiliate, etc.

I do eBay for 100% of my income right now, but it has not been too much.

Lol, no that was not me. I have been studying these forums since around March.

I just get in these depressed stages, sorry for posting such stupid shit. I just have everyone telling me I am wasting my time and need to go to school and then work a 9-5 job, and i guess it is being said so much that I believe it sometimes.

    Beautifully said KHer0.

Laser42, did you know it took video-game giant SquareEnix 4 years before striking gold with Final Fantasy?

Think of it this way. If you don't complain when things DO go your way, why start when they DON'T? Slow success is success nonetheless.

Sure, there are plenty of us around here who are full-time thanks to BHW as a knowledge and networking base. It's by no means easy, but neither is anything worth doing.

Don't make the common mistake of associating post count with success - you'll find the majority of people who spend all day posting on forums don't actually make any money/are kids with too much time on their hands. The majority of full time IMers on BHW will have <50 posts. People also diversify/change their business models so it is not uncommon to spend some time away from forums to work on other things.

    No problem, Mate

    Sorry I had you confused.

    Just ask yourself these questions:
Are you comfortable working for somebody else and have the (supposed) security of a salary?
Or, do you want to be in charge of your own destiny, working for yourself, taking the risks and rewards that come with this?

    Good Luck

I estimate 90% don't make enough to live off of; of the 10% that do, probably less than 1% bank hard.

If you spend enough time reading, you'll notice basic ethics common to those who are successful- meaning that it's more about skill than luck.

Passion is all you need, if you don't like it nor believe in it, you really should consider if you should choose this path or not.

I have a journey thread showing how long it took me to make money. It was hard to get started, but if you're determined enough, you'll make it. Judging by your need to be re-assured however, it doesn't look like you are. Maybe a 9-5 is best, in that case.

    Thanks for posting.

I think I can do it, I am just having a tough time of things right now and need some pushing on, I want everything to happen so quickly and I can't seem to work at any long term goals...

Too many people take on IM as if its a job and needs to pay their bills...
If you are not addicted to internet in general and IM specifically you will never be successful.

Sure you can make some money copying this or that method - but if your mind is not brighter than of the sheep we milk, you will never get that popping idea for the twist or really new idea that makes you thousands just in days.

verilix's thread is amongst the few Journey Threads I like, I think he called it a Success Thread

OP, read it if you want some inspiration.

Everybody has felt like you do at one time or another. It is natural for doubt to creep in and for one to question ones abilities.
Will you be one of the people that get afraid and give up or will you say screw it and become more determined to succeed?

Maybe that's your problem. IM is a lifestyle, not some dream of mansions and cars. You have to get into the routine every day, just chipping away at it- and finding some joy and fullfillment in the work, not just the rewards. To master anything you need to have the attitude that it's a journey without an ending.

If you live in USA / UK / Canada these type of countries .. and you read BHW and implement you should be making $50,000-$80,000 a year with proper diversification. (Affiliate Sites and Seo Services)

... should you really grasp what the forum is all about then $80k + should be achievable.

If you live in other countries where its harder to join networks / harder to get US based clients etc - well you have to set realistic goals according to what you can or cannot do.

Just like any other career really.

    Nice journey thread man.

A 9-5 is not best for me, I am sure of that. Stuff like this that requires me to be my own boss is the only thing that will work for me, but sometimes I loose hope and feel it is useless. But I can do it, I know I can get through it.
