I have been running 25 automated accounts, posting daily and following for just over a month with no PVAs, bans or blocks. They have gained ~ 1000 targeted followers each. As such I am now looking to scale up to 100 accounts and continue. My plan is the usual; use them to drive traffic to my products. I know this is an open question with a number of dependencies but, in your personal experiences (or opinion - although I would appreciate it if people differentiated), how many accounts of this type (ie not 10k+ microinfluencer accounts) does it take to see serious results? I am not looking to be spoonfed but if anyone could point me in the direction of good IG marketing strategies that go beyond spamming DMs and bio links I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

It depends on the Quality of the Accounts,And in short the Answer is the More Number of Accounts you have the more traffic it will send to your Products ensuring that you are also focusing on Maintaining Quality of the Accounts.

It depends ; what do you mean by "results" ?

IG marketing strategies that go beyond spamming DMs and bio links
So you automate accounts to sell your products. But you don't DMs or any link in bio. What's your strategy then ?

Results will depends on the strategy + how big you can scale them.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I haven't begun using them to drive traffic yet and I will certainly use those methods. I will also probably do split tests on batches of accounts to try to optimise the re trafficking. I guess I was hoping there might be some resources showing some tried and tested basic ideas (such as advert frequency/style etc.) as a jumping off point just to save me some time and avoid stupid errors.

I intend to scale them for as long as I can. They're all community pages with good quality content, I'm hoping they last a long time, but you never know.

This is the type of question ,,how much my restaurant is gonna earn''. In reality, no one can answer that. The sky is the limit. Someone is gonna operate on the big dept and go broke and another restaurant can earn millions of dollars. That depends on too many factors to estimate it. And the same rules apply to internet marketing.

I am confident in the quality of the accounts and in my ability to maintain that quality. I was wondering if anyone with experience could give me some ballpark figures or variances based on what they've achieved.

I understand no-one can say with total clarity. I was just looking for some rough gauge of people's achievements and priorities.

We all have experience to share. However, I'm not aware of "impactfull" ressources or guides that shows what's the best practice in 2021 in order to automate and get traffic from IG accounts with split tests. The only possibility would be to do the tests yourself.

We all started there honestly, blind, with a blurry background & hypothetic future success. But if you work hard enough while being smart, I can assure you that the journey is definitely worth the while :)

I am not quiet understand what you are trying to achieve, followers or traffic to your Shopify store to sell specific product?

If you are running 25 childs, promoting your product, you can auto DM each follow to follow your main account with a discount code coupon (Use different codes so it won't be linked).

For example:

"Hey Jon! Thank you so much for following us! We would like to give you 25% discount for our BLABLABOOB, you can find our store in @BOOBIEBOOB bio"

This is working like a charm for me and I am able to generate many sales on daily basis.

I am trying to get traffic for an online store. I was initially creating them in order to generate followers for another account, but it seems like a waste of time to direct people to another account, then try to sell through that one. That said, I'm guessing if I have a main account representing the business with a large amount of followers and strong branding/social proof, that conversions would be much higher than from community accounts.

Thank you for your input do you mind me asking how many accounts you are working with using this method?

Your motive is to make profit primarily. So, give yourself the freedom to scale as much as you can as long your methods work.
