I've always wanted to get into this but I definitely need to learn more

Guys listen 3K is the bottom, this is just accumulation on china fucking around. The thing about bitcoin is about vol. the price is not important. Why? Because the biggest concern of bitcoin going mainstream is its volatility, and the powers that be will not allow another 50 percent cut . I'd accumulate right now, or get into XRP or ARK.

Im expecting BTC to go down to $2000 over the next few weeks. there will be some rally and support at $3000, but will then fall right through that after and down to $2k $2.5k range which is when i would consider buying in. This is more a price correction (due to crazy bubble prices) rather than a crash. So anyone buying now is just losing (more) money.

The intraday downward trend is so strong that BTC did not manage to get out of the downtrend channel. Respecting your risk tolerance when trading this cryptocurrency is advised. If you managed to get into this when BTC was below its current price, it is better to have a trailing stop-loss so you can achieve these 3 Ps.

- preserve your capital
- protect your gains
- prevent the occurrence of losses beyond what you can only handle

On a personal standpoint, I won't go all-in even when the price enters the range I'd to trade because no one really knows the true bottom of its price.

We're all talking about probabilities and not guarantees when trading either cryptocurrencies, forex, or equities.

When the conviction level is not high and when you have no data that can support your bullish outlook (like when you're only driven by pure gut feel and not by data), I always go for buying or selling in tranches. This way, I don't get wiped out of the game so soon. Don't get whipsawed.

Content writer is a smart dude, i can attest to that (even if you dont quite know who i am man i know you ; ) )

The only thing i say is if you look at the chart 1Y we've had a 30-40 percent drop for a week interval every few months in the 1-5K rise, be smart but also understand that the fish and the uninformed see this as a cause for panic and negativity, the whales of crypto see this as cheap coins.

This is why I still stand by bitcoin - it's not really like any other investment and it's like no other asset - even now when it's plummeting more people see it as an opportunity to buy it at a low price than as a bad sign.

I'll probably buy at 3k, 2.5k, 2k (if it goes that low) and I'll wait for it to go back up, which I have no doubt it will do.

Dave Bro, try to buy when it comes in 2.5 to 2k range. I feel, it will come in that range.

I read somewhere that 90% of btc was owned by the chinese. I think it will drop very hard.

I read on twitter just now that chinas biggest BTC exchange has released a statement to say it will stop all trading on 30th September.

So I'm thinking that is gonna keep dropping until then. On or after 30th I will consider buying some more.

I bought most of mine when they were around 2.5k anyway so I'm not too worried. I was gonna sell at 5k but I didn't end up doing so. Don't really regret it because something is telling me I should just hold on to them.

Just hold them, bro, I guess it will reach 4.5 mark again. May be at the start of November what you say?

The bad news might not end there (30th sept) and between now and then there might more attacks from the traditional $ establishment and maybe USA announce they too will start regulating ICOs this or next month....could be difficult few months ahead for Bitcoin.

Boring week so far. Nothing really acutally moving.

Have the recent movements and consolidation made anyone in this thread change their mind about where we're headed?

Me, I took a position that it would drop again for a while before eventually rising, and that hasn't paid off yet, but I haven't seen a strong enough reversal to make me change my strategy yet

I did vote "buy at $3000 in the poll", but then I wussed out and bought at $3200.
