I hate that word "web 2.0" ... I don't knowa man, if you really want to go for that go and search for journeys of people doing similar stuff.

Your question is too broad really to give a definitive answer.
It depends on niche, competition, how good their on-page is, how good their backlinks are.

You don't just need more web 2.0s, you need stronger ones.

    Quality over quantity everytime.

Before you even start THINKING about web 2.0's, or any type of backlink, you need to get your on-site optimisation up to scratch

Really look at the top of the search results for your keyword and see what they are doing. Why are they ranking for that keyword? Look at their content, is it lacking anything?

Make a resource that's better than those at the top, make sure your on-page is SPOT ON, then you can start worrying about backlinks

No one knows. It's difficult to rank with 10 web 2.0 links. Build more links and good on page SEO will bring good ranking.

"not hard" is an indicator; so you cannot fully relay on it. You need to actually study the competition and see what work their doing. The question is, is their content good? and optimised? Do they have backlinks? If yes, are they good? free? Are they related?

SEO is not just "hard" or "not hard" and "10web2 is better than 8 web2". It's an actual job.
