My SB is basically aaveraging to finish this list in 10 day's time. Where am I going wrong?

    I'm using 10 proxies with 6 connections.
Machine is 4GB RAM, 5.2Ghz processor, 10K RPM HD.

    6 connections!

I run 50 connections for Fastposting via Scrapebox. Running such low connections is why its gonna take so long.

Regardless - what's your internet connection? That's the most important indicator of how many connections you can use via Sbox.

That sounds actually good in your case. Don't you think it would be a little suspicious if you got 250k backlinks in a day? 25k/day over 10 days in my opinion would be better than 250k/day

I'm assuming you don't use Scrapebox?

Because he's running a list of 250k doesn't mean that he's gonna get anywhere close to that. If its a "random" list that he found or scraped chances are he'll get a 3% success rate, meaning posted AND live backlinks.

Of that, the search engines may only index 50% of the links at some point. Which means that's probably closer to 3,750 or so links. Out of those 3,750 links the chances that Google or any search engine comes across them and indexes them regularly is slim to none. Since they are usually spammed to death auto approve pages it could take up to a month or two for links to be indexed and crawled.

Therefore it's not all that "unnatural" as the links will trickle in over the coming months. Tying up a computer for 10 days isn't helpful or useful and there's a good chance Scrapebox will freeze or crash before than anyways.

But if your looking to build links to multiple sites/URL's or tiered links, then hitting it hard wont matter.

I use about 50-70 connections for fast poster, and would complete a list that size in about 24 hours approx

    Thanks :)

Ya, that's a pretty low bandwidth so you'll need to throttle accordingly.

Where did you get your list that you are using? Did you scrape it yourself or is it an "auto approve" list that you bought/acquired?

Found it on here, 2mil lists, 1mil lists etc, trying this as another method as others haven't worked out for me.

What do you think I should use connection wise etc with a low bandwidth, and considering I only have 10 (private) proxies?

The best thing to do would be to test it, since its a random list I'd say that you probably won't have a ton of luck with success rate.

I'd got with atleast 20 connections, you may even get away with 30 but that's probably pushing it.

You may even want to modify your TimeOut settings. If you reduce the timeout settings you'll be able to process the list faster BUT will have a lower success rate. Since this is a "random" list, I'd probably say lower it so that you can get through it quicker.

If you KNOW the list is good, then up the timeout to 90 seconds.

    One last question:

    http://www.regencyhost.com/100mbps-vps-virtual-private-servers.php

I'm planning on getting one of these to run one instance of SB, which do you think I can comfortably go for without it being too much for the RAM or processor? Cheapest is best obv

EDIT: already upped the speed of the list to complete in 27 hours! Thank you :) about 35% post rate
