How long into your journey did you actually see some profit or grew a sufficient amount.
A long time. A long, long time. My first site was awful, 2nd site awful, 3rd site fantastic keywords, great content and design, Generating multiple streams of income. It's all about persistence, selling, learning, and hard work.
Depends on you and what you do. Its different for everyone. I made SOME money since joining this forum (in 3-4 months), nothing major and not enough to live on.
According to the date you joined the forum seems like you are having some doubts as to if it is worth it or not.
Its about consistency and the ability to keep going even if you dont make anything in weeks. The time you are spending will still pass if you are gaming, watching a movie or just doing nothing, and that time will still pass if you consistenly work on your project. But which one has a CHANCE of showing some results?
I hate to say it... but it depends on how bad you want it or need it. I lurked forums like this for years as a kid and never took any real action. No amount of time would've changed that.
But many years later when I had my back against the wall financially...I spent every waking hour actually taking action, trying different things. I no longer had a comfort zone, so I had to try all the uncomfortable things that I didn't want to do before. A few months later I was making ends meet from my online business (not a huge success, but enough).
There's stuff you can do TODAY, or at least this week or month at the latest to get someone to open up their checkbook and pay you money. It would involve something very uncomfortable like cold calling or walking into businesses trying to network, but if you really wanted and needed it you could do it.
It's all about your 'why' and getting that leverage on yourself to take the correct action. That's a lot easier said than done and it's not something I have cracked to this day either. I currently make a full time income online, but it's a daily battle to keep moving, as things are always changing and though I'm a 'success' today, my success is not guaranteed tomorrow.
About 3 days, I made $11.00. it then took me nearly 2yrs to make another $1. Kept learning and testing.
Depends on what success is. Started making money the first day with CL ads. Probably like $50 that day or something for selling a service.
Damn thats a good video.
Thanks for sharing.
Very cool vid, thanks for sharing.
2 years of averaging 10 hours of work a day. No Saturdays and Sundays. Every day is a workday.
5 years and change till $100/day, 7+ years for $150+/day (Not posting the exact figure).
It would've been nice if I had some money to invest, the going would've been easier, but no one was "Wise" enough to lend a 14-year-old some money.
It took me almost 2 years to see the first $
Never had one yet. I wouldn't call my freelancing a success since it doesn't involve risk.
