I made around 10 micro niche sites/autoblogs one week ago and big G has indexed them all for a few pages. But I didnt get traffic yet...it really blowed my confidence.:( So I just wanna know if I should wait for few weeks or maybe months before I make profit from these sites/autoblogs? Suggestions appreciated! I need to build my confidence here.:o

You will know as soon as it ranks and that will be right after its indexed. If you are not on the first page, or even the first half page, you won't be making any real money.

Then you have 2 choices, backlink to try and raise it, or go back to the drawing board and perfect your keyword research.

Keep chugging along man and build more sites. Then go back like tygrus said and analyze. Check placement of ads, content, make sure that clicking on the adsense ads is the only way to leave the site.

I have done zero backlinking with my autoblogs and very little SEO other than with WP plugins.

My oldest ones were started in May. Of those, My best blogs make up to $10 a day in adsense as well as Amazon sales. In all, I'm up to $30 a day total in adsense plus Amazon sales after 3 months with about 40 ABs.

In my experience you will see some money after 6 weeks. You should see steady money after 3 months.

My biggest suggestion is to give it more time. A few weeks is too short of time to judge anything. I keep a steady stream of ABs in the pipeline with the understanding that they won't produce much until the magic 3 month mark.

But hey, I'm a newbie and what do I know? :D

@Isendale in my opinion, doing some backlinking can greatly increase your sales.
If it's a big niche, there might be some other autoblog, if you backlink you'll get his share. If it's a small competition backlinks will rank you higher = more traffic

see which KWs bring you the most traffic (if organic), google analytics can do this, but since it's an autoblog, see some plugins like Statpress

only a tip

Being indexed does not mean anything at all. You need to be on the first page for your keywords to get any traffic and if you want to make money with adsense you need traffic.

use social bookmarking -- digg one of your articles, etc. every bit helps. twitter is great for traffic too.

Well, it'll be a few months yet until you receive a paycheck, simply because they have a minimum $60 payout cap, and they work on a NET 30 basis.

My suggestion would be look revisit your SEO Strategy. Start with your Keyword Analyis, and find places where you could of improved and put more work into. So ask yourself - have I done my Keyword Research right? Is my Link Building strong enough to beat the Competition? Is everything optimized and SEO Friendly on site? etc ...

I would search for different niches - focusing more heavily around more strict requirements on selecting your Keywords. Then, make sure you use the write SEO Strategy... something long term I find always hits the buck at the end of the road!

Hope that helps :D

I've received a few offers via email to exchange links but honestly I never gave it much thought. The offers seem to be genuine and not a Bot spam email.

I'm not kidding when I say I'm a newbie at this. I'll give backlinking a go on a few blogs as a test to see what happens. I believe the reason I've been successful so far (at least I *think* I'm successful) is because I've listened to and followed advice.

OP, July has been a great month for me so far. :drinking8 As I said, give it time and you will start to reap the rewards. Just keep plugging away!
