I just did a 301 redirect from a domain I bought to my money site.

How long will it be until I see the results in Google?

Few days, give it additional boost with ping to make sure it's crawled.

It'll take the same time it takes to crawl your site.

5 days to 2 weeks but in some cases it may take longer.

In my case it took about 8-10 days to completely take effect.

P.S: I redirected an emd.info that had awfull rankings to an emd.net (that I bought in an auction) and without any more backlinking to the new domain, I got superb rankings!
