How long to let a site age before backlinks?

    In my opinion, there is no limit, as long as you follow it up everyday. Keep it constant, so you won't be suspicious.

    Definitely.

    Too many people are getting caught up in this whole thing about Google being some all-powerful, all-knowing being that will knock you down the second you break one of their rules.

    Google is a machine.

    There is no large penalties or Google police.

    I agree with Pat. Go nuts, but be consistent.
