How long should you leave rss feeds up for indexing?

    Does it provide any advantage leaving the feeds up once your links have been indexed?

    I think they can count as backlinks (correct me if im wrong) which this can add some diversity to your backlinking structure. Diversity is good.

    I use linklicious and you can dripfeed rss/pings so its really nice, and easy.

    If they do count as backlinks then that is reason enough for me so would like to get confirmation on that.
