Hey guys, I started my blog iphoneblogr.com in June of 2010. I now receive 5,000-10,000 visitors per day, however Google only shows me as having 3 pages of backlinks when I search for link:iphoneblogr.com which is incorrect, I know I have well over 2,000 backlinks by now so there should be far more than 3 pages of backlinks coming up.

Also, our site still has a pagerank of 0 which I find a bit odd. Does anyone know about how long it will take before all of our backlinks start showing up and our pagerank increases?

    Thanks in advance!

That depends on the quality of your backlinks, if all your backlinks are pr 0 or no PR it would not raise the PR of your blog, another thing to take into consideration is how many links are on each one of the pages that link to your blog.

The quality is mixed, I have links on PR4-PR6 sites I have links on PR2-PR4 sites and I have links on PR0 sites as well. The problem is that none of those backlinks show up in Google, so it's not that the quality of the backlinks isn't good enough it's that Google doesn't even recognize the backlinks at all

    a) The google link: operator is seriously broken (deliberately) and only shows a fraction of your real backlinks. Try using yahoo site explorer instead. Just because a link isn't showing using the link: command doesn't mean that it's not being counted. If your backlink shows in the cached version of a page, it's probably being counted.

    b) Publicly displayed PR is on the way out and there hasn't been a proper PR update in ages. There appeared to be a partial update in Jan but not all sites were updated; it's unknown when the next PR update will be or in fact if there ever will be one. It was the death knell for public PR when Google removed the PR display from webmaster tools.

Just keep working on getting backlinks and all will be well. If you have 2K links then your real PR is probably between 2 and 4 on the toolbar scale, or even higher if you have a generally high quality of backlinks. Just focus on traffic and good backlinks, not PR! If you're getting 5K-10K a day then you're doing great.
