How long does YouTube traffic last?

hey guys, just wondering how long can I count on getting traffic from YouTube videos if I don't upload anymore? say i upload 10 videos this month and am get about 50 visitors a day, how long will that traffic last?

i'm not sure what happens with old videos. they might get buried by new videos or they might get more credibilty by gaining more views, comments and ratings and show up higher in listings. so i'm not sure what happens.

what's been your experience?

A lot of the time my videos will be taken down within a week, so I have to constantly upload more. But the ones that last over a month do continue to bring in views and traffic. Even so, I don't know why you would stop uploading if it will bring in more visitors.

Yeah, I'm testing this now. It can't hurt to keep uploading videos. I'm not sure how long the traffic will last though.

If they do not delete your videos you will receive traffic again and again.

My Videos tend to all have a different shelf lifes depending on what niche they are in and whether or not they violate TOC on youtube. As long as the ratings stay positive your video seems to maintain a consistent level of views.

It wouldnt hurt to bookmark your videos using bookmarking demon also... & use other sites to link to your video using achor text using your master keywork as the anchor text. This will increase your chance of your vid hitting google search engines......

Also I cant stress enough to make use of your tags assigned for your video.... there is some good posts up here about applying seo princibles to your videos.... have a look for them mate..... Ill keep my eye out for you and PM you... id help you out more but i have to run....
