How long does it usually take you to get to page 1 starting from nothing/unranked?

    Being a newbie to this game still I wanna see if I am on track.

    I managed to get to 1st page in a few weeks with low traffic/comp keywords- 170 exact but it's taking me a while with 1k+ ones. 3 I am working on are around 1k and another is 8k.

    So of course this is going to depend on how many exact so could you guys give me averages of how long it take you to hit page one starting from scratch and give exact search details. Also if you are kind enough to give a brief outline of the main things which get you to number one that would be great.

    What I'm finding is the web2.0 and amr blasts are ok as a first rocket jump but after they aren't that useful after that since they are just 'one shot deals' in that you do not get extra points for doing those again. So recently I have just been blasting like crazy these original links with SB but still that isn't making huge changes. SB blasting does definitely seem to show steady movement which I was skeptical of at first but not enough to get near front page and I run out of lists before I get close.

    So I wonder how else do you do it? I am looking into xrumer services next. The good thing about both of these which I like is that you can do these indefinitely to an extent, so long as you can find lists which you haven't used yet.

    I had run out of AA lists for SB which I'd bought which is why I have this week been working on finding my own.

    So I'm interested in timelines mainly to see if I am on track. Obv. I'm gonna be slower since I am still getting over learning curves for each program and don't have money invested in the business like others would but it would be good to hear other's stories to know what to shoot for. Also info on your process would be a bonus.

    I think you're trying to run before you can walk by being a little impatient.

    I don't think blasting your website directly is a good idea especially if it is a new domain. I also think with recent reports about AMR that using it directly on your site might not be a good idea.

    If I was you i'd go grab a cup of tea and sit down to read these two threads first to last page;

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...lueprint-senuke-amr-bmd-xrumer-scrapebox.html

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...web2-0-structures-yourself-simple-method.html

    Go easy on your website at first, build up the linking over time.

    I personally take things slowly, I make sure I have enough sites so that I forget about some and when I come back they react to new backlinks very well.

    I would start by creating 6 new web 2.0s, using xrumer blasts on them and then using some small blasts form scrapebox and maybe a few profile links on your main site every week. Once it reaches about a year old you can blast much more depending on how much of an authority Google sees it as.

    Depends on the keyword, but my last site took me 2-3 weeks..on a brand new domain..to get to #4 on the first page...

    The thing to remember is that getting on the first page is easy if the keyword is not competitive. However, if it is a competitive keyword prepare to work and study hard.

    Care to briefly explain what you did plus what your exact/s was/were? broad-strokes...?

    I have been going for like 3 weeks now and am 16 for one of them (though I haven;t been able to figure out how I jumped there form 30s) and jammed in the 50s for the others.
