my keyword difficulty scores very low 40 on keyword revealer, with nice search volume average 8000. isnt this supposed to be easy to rank?

it's been 11 days since i posted the 1st article. i have a total of 4 well written articles of nice lengths.
it's been 17 days since i published by About page. All articles have been indexed.

i have also created 8 tier-1 links, and 3 tier-2 links, including carefully written articles, pinterest pins, forum profiles with some activity. all of them have been indexed.

i have not put in adsense, because i have not seen any activity.

how much longer am i supposed to wait? i am really afraid of throwing mass backlinks now, or using SER. some people here said for easy niche, one doesnt have to spam links?

how long does it take you to see money from niche site?

I believe it'll take atleast a few months to rank with that difficulty and search volume.

Even though the difficulty provided by KWR doesn't really give us a thorough idea of the actual competition for this keyword (it's the average PA of the first 10 results) I can tell you that if you expect to rank that quickly for a keyword it will have to have a ridiculously low difficulty score (a lot lower). Even then it will take a good site structure, proper on-page optimisation, well written content and time.
I'd say keep writing articles for a couple of weeks focusing on different keywords with lower difficulty scores and let this one sit, if it's really an easy keyword it should at least appear in the first 255 results after a couple of weeks. Then you can start building links to the articles that achieve an organic ranking to boost their SERPS.

Not saying I'm an expert here, but that's how I do it. I wasted too much money in the past building links to articles who's keywords I hardly had a chance of ranking for in the first place.

It is very difficult to say how long will you need to wait. Sometimes websites get good rankings in two months, sometimes it takes much more time to see good improvement in rankings. My personal record is 3 months till the website got its first 300UV/day.

300UV is a good measure. what was the difficulty level? you had to do blackhat mass links? and when did you start the backlinking?

Add way more content. There is no point getting stressed over just one keyword. Add LOTS of good content, and your traffic will grow a lot quicker.

are you saying it's important not to build links before you appear in the SERP?

Well, not exactly. If you have done proper research on the targeted keywords, and you have a structured plan for the monetization of your content, then go for it. But if you are not absolutely sure that you will have a good chance of reaching the first 3-10 spots for your keyword and making back your investment then it would be gambling. I've made this mistake plenty of times myself, but nowadays if the keywords aren't super profitable I target niches with extremely low competition, often ranking a bunch of keywords on the 2nd-5th pages within a couple of days/weeks before any links are even built.

Niche sites are for the long haul, really. It takes time to get ranked and gain authority. If you're doing niche site + adsense, could be a year or so before you get any "worth while" income, and that's with actually working, or outsourcing. I really wish these "gurus" would stop making people think that a niche site is going to get n00bs rich over-night or even a couple months. Highly unlikely. There's keyword research involve, searching and buying expired domains with good backlinks, SEO, etc.. the people who make money from niche sites are the guys who have been doing it for years and know what they're doing, and have several dozens of websites to earn their $x,xxx/m.

I'm not trying to piss on your dreams, just being realistic. Keep doing what you're doing and pumping content into your one site. Maybe at the earliest, in 6 months, evaluate how much time and energy you've invested and if the income by then warrants making another site(s), and scale up.
