how long does it take until a backlink gets rewarded by google

hi

i wanted to aks how long it usually takes until google "rewards" you for having the backlink ??

It depends on how quickly the site that the backlink is on gets indexed. Setup a Google Alert with your website's link and you will get emailed once Google has found it.
 
go to Google.com. Click My Account (Top Right) if you havn't got a gmail account create one and then click google alerts in my account and type in your site address including http:// and then setup how often you would like to receive alerts.
 
somehow i can only setup alerts for some topics ???

maybe it is only in the american google yet and not for german users ???
 
sorry. so i type in the url of my website in the search topic field and then which type of alert do i have to set ??
 
Come on dude, setting up Google Alerts is ridiculously easy, don't act helpless.

to get ur backlinks to show up quickly this is what you do 1 drop your anchor text including with your link or links 2 save all the links where u linking to and create a rss feed submit the rss feed and social bookmark it that way the sites ur linking to get indexed thats the million dollar secret people dont share and the mistake newbies make they just drop links and think thats the end

Back links are typically indexed withing 24 hours... I've done a few min to a few hours. Any SEO worth his salt should be able to tell you how. Just watch out for generating to many back links to fast or you will suffer penalties. There are several ways to get around this you just have to understand how Google works.

So you don't think I'm a total jerk here's a few quick starter tips:
- blog
- auto ping
- rss
- search submission
- blog comments
- digg and similar sites

I'll leave you with that to get started. Play around with that kind of stuff and you should get some 'interesting' results.
