I've done some link building and my new site's been indexed, how long should it take before it gets ranked in the top 1000 for its KW?

Have the links you've built contain keyword anchor text? If so I'd give it a few days, depending on how many links you built.

Yes depends on how many links you will have.

If you create a site and dont make links you will never be indexed, but if make some links like bookmark, etc you can be indexed from 1 hour to 3 days.

it completely depends on the keyword. Sometimes it only takes an hour to a day for me to hit page 1 with a blog post and other times it takes a bit of effort and some link building, it really depends and to get a good answer you really need to divulge as much information as possible about your competitors and your site or page so that people that know what they're talking about can help you. otherwise you're just going to get crap answers that really don't help you at all.

I wrote a post on my blog yesterday. The kw ranked #104 on google 2 hours later. I didn't make any backlinks or anything. The kw gets about 1600 exact searches a month. It really depends on the kw.

You should be in the top 1000 once your site get indexed no matter how hard your keyword / niche is.
Otherwise it means you're doing something COMPLETELY wrong.

Yeah this niche isn't competitive either..
I made a 3 page site with 3 unique articles and I did a few blasts with xrumer, site's indexed but not showing up for KW, did I get sandboxed? I made 2 niche related sites and both are acting the same way...

If your site is relevant to a keyword and the competition is not though, Google may rank your posts on the first page the moment it indexes your post. Happened to me a few times, it took 10 mins to rank my post on the 4th spot.

There is a difference between indexing and ranking!

You get indexed probably after 48 with doing nothing. That only means that you are in the database of google.

But you get ranked usually only after google found links with anchor text or ~6 weeks after.
Keyworddomains get ranked faster than no-keyword domains.

Really? I'm yet to see a decent site indexed and NOT ranking in top 1000.
Many times my sites rank on page 1-2-3 from the very beginning.

How long ago did you do the profiles and XR blast? The best bet is to keep on building using a mix of things, create an article also.
