How long does it take to rank after backlinks have been indexed!

Hello guys,

I've been busting my ass trying to build quality backlinks to my website and have succeeded. I was trying to rank for one keyword for one URL on my site. I have finally gotten quality backlinks to my URL and its been 1 month they have been indexed too. But my URL is still stuck on the 11th spot on US Google Search. I have made over 40 medium quality backlinks and 7 High quality backlinks to this URL.

But im confused because my Rank is still on the 11th spot just like before.

I was very happy when my backlinks got indexed 1 month ago because after they were indexed my website experienced a bump in higher rankings for all of my URLs keywords and I started getting 25% more organic traffic after backlink indexed.

But the weird part is that my URL with the target keyword that I was aiming for is still stuck on the 11th spot. nothing changed for my target URL.

I have gotten 7 high quality anchor text do follow backlinks for my URL but nothing changed and its been a whole month.

Do you guys think I have to wait longer than a 1 month after backlink has been indexed to see changes.

I could really use some expert advice guys.

also my URL is optimized for on page seo so there is no problem there. However I would like to point out that the 10 results that are ahead of me for the keyword are all ecommerce sites. mainly amazon.com, walmart, target, and ect. but they are all ecommerce sites not review blogs like mine.

It will take anywhere between 3-20 days depends on the quality of the site, backlinks and many more factors.

Keyword ranking doesn't depend only on the backlinks, it depends on various factors like content quality, onpage Optimisation, keyword density, metas, interlinking, backlinks etc.

So just make sure everything is correct.

I said, it doesn't depend ONLY on backlinks, and thats why I listed some more factors on which ranking depends.

Okay I get that ranking does not depend on backlinks only but many other factors too. But I already covered the other factors. and finally got quality backlinks too. so now how much time it should take in your opinion?

Thanks for your advice I appreciate it. However I have another question for you. Why do so many members offer backlink services on BHW stating it will get them to page 1 on google when everyone knows that backlinks is only one factor and there are other factors to consider for ranking high. What I mean is why do SEO experts on BHW only focus their services backlink building.

I had a feeling that backlinks is the most important factor and the others count too but their not as important as backlinks.

Please read new market place rules, stating like that is now almost prohibited here on this forum. You can get to #1 by using services for longer or by using bigger package. Small packages only deliver links.

Must be 15-20 days

When you're this high on google you have to also consider user signals such as CTR of your snippet and bounce rate.

i don't know why people care more about ranking, provide good quality, and you will get ranked automatically

Here are thing to note:

1) One month isn't that long honestly. I'm in competitive niches and it takes 7+ weeks for links to count
2) You are about to break the 1st page. It has stricter rules than 11+ positions.
3) You are probably in the "stuck on the 2nd page" phase. Happens to the best of us.
4) Like you said, your competitors are authority sites. Can be tricky to out-rank them if your site is of a different type (not impossible tho)

Combination of time, links, social & traffic will help you get unstuck.

For over 2 years the core google algo is functioning in real time, I assume we are talking about google here and indexing is google seeing/rating & reacting to a link, the reaction should be real time.
