I was wondering how long it takes to get approved by Adwords, this is when you have applied legitimately and with all your real details, and filled in as many details as you can?

Also, I'm wondering if you need to have a website before you are able to sign up. I'm asking this because I do not have a website and I want to sign up, am I allowed? Or do I need to purchase a domain before they are able to approve me?

Thanks in advance for any replies, they are appreciated. Thanks guys.

    irectHello.
For me it some times takes even hours for ads to start, some times 1-3 days, but I do it with coupons, don't think it will take more time without them :)
You technically are not to have your own domain/website, but you will need to advertise some URL and if you want to direct link to CPA/affiliate page then better forget this idea. So I'd better buy a domain and create the lnading page for my ads as you will need to enter it when creating your very first campaign.
There's no such thing as account approval, only your ads pass it, account is created instantly.

    Thanks for the reply.
So you don't need to take long to get approved like adsense? and your ads can take between a few hours to a few days to get approved. Do they always approve your ads manually or do they do it automatically and assume your ad is fine, unless someone reports it? anyhow, thanks for the info, nice to know adwords accounts dont need days to verify like adsense.

    thanks alot.

i hope you mean adsense. Adwords is a waste of money for advertisement.
