1) quality of the video
2) user engagement (likes,comments and subscribers )
3) SEO ( keywords andbacklinks )
Note : YouTube algorithm works on user engagement but quality backlinks will help you to rank on Google.
Add proper related tags and write 300 plus description for each video

I'm doing the same thing, and it takes about 47 days to make 10$, then about 72 days to make 100$, and finally 156 days and 13 hours to make $1k. xD
Nobody can answer you to that question, if your vids are HQ, you can get lucky and go viral and make xxxx$ today, but also your channel have the chance to never take off, and you'll never earn something serious.

100% Agree with this. Fuck risking prison time. Get some of your mates to pitch in and have a bit of fun. Fake videos aren't even that hard

there are many guides for youtube make money methods. follow some and you get decent revenue.

No one can tell you an exact answer to this question as its unpredictable. It could be possible that within few hours so huge guy sees your video finds it funny and shares with his followers/subs and you get shit load of views and earn $XXXX in a single day or you dont even make the same till next 2 years.
Besides that purchasing HQ views will help you in getting on top and if your videos are really interesting you will surely get success soon enough.

If you really want to increase your chances at making money, upload videos over 10 minutes in length and insert multiple ad-breaks in the video. This can sometimes turn people off from the video, but if you get someone to watch the whole video through it's like they've just watched 3 videos of yours due to the multiple ads. Just an option!

I just started a youtube channel a month ago and you have to choose between quality (slow and steady) or viral potential (looking for a quick, big break).. my content lends itself to natural engagement, long videos and viewers watching multiple times to mimic what I am showing them so I am in the slow, steady camp. As others have said research what makes videos rank and focus on those in addition to the basics of making good, interesting, watchable videos.

I made a fake channel uploaded 10 videos on my niche few videos got over 100k but the channel only makes around $10 a month 400 subs. Hey for 10 videos and not touching the channel ill take that 10 dollars . You might want to head over to social blade and see what people are earning in your niche and then compare them figures and work it out.
