Hi guys,

I uploaded disavow file to the search console month ago and still see that result: 533 domains and 0 URLs are disavowed
How long does it take till Google approves my file?

Thanks.

I'm also in this disavow thing now. I uploaded the file a week ago and still shows that 0 URLs are disavowed. Unfortunately, maybe it's true that it takes months for this to take effect.

Its not just one time task, google might not remove the action in the first time you need to submit them again and again. If that's the case it takes about 6 months minimum(fact that it happened while I was doing this for my client)

Why you want to disavow? I don't understand.

If you are saying that those links "harm" your site, well, so you are now an expert on Negative SEO and you are saying that Negative SEO is effective.

Google has become so smart at detecting spammy sites, and sometimes it's dumb.

Those "spammy" sites could do NOTHING, and some of them can help you to rank.

Don't disavow links, you are wasting precious time. Focus on building more relevant links.

I’ve only disavowed backlinks a handful of times at best over the course of the years that I’ve been doing SEO. I know that one of the executives came out & said it can take anywhere from 3-6 months for a disavow attempt to fully make an appearance in the SERPs.

Though, the disavow tool isn’t what it used to be because Google has improved their detection of spammy/random link attempts. I’d explain that concept to your clients.

For the record: I just checked a few previously uploaded disavow files from 26th May 2021. Here are the results to the present date:

- 140 domains and 4 URLs are disavowed;
- 390 domains and 5 URLs are disavowed;
