Let's say I ordered a service off here for $100 worth of seo work and and all the links were done in 7 days, how long does it take for google to pick up on all the work/links and boost up your position on google?

    Thanks

Difficult question to answer. There alot of factors that change this, including:

    1. Tiered linking.
    2. Pinging/indexing services.
    3. Quality of the links created.

Generally it's between 2-3 weeks, though if they aren't pinged or tiered then it's technically possible (and not all that unreasonable to assume) that Google might never find some of them.

Interesting, so if you ping all links the indexing can be almost instant?

How exactly do you ping a link?

To effectively ping links in volume you'll need Linklicious/Lindexed, though there are ways to manage smaller amounts.

It's still not instant and doesn't even necessarily mean you will get them indexed - it's just something that helps. From my own experience the easiest way to get backlinks indexed is to blast them with blog comments. Something about comments really gets your shit crawled.
