Have 2 relatively new websites, one has been up for 3 months and the other 5 days. The second I understand why it's not picking up data but after 3 months shouldn't the other one have some information on my backlinks? I know they're there as I've been actively creating them and have seen some myself.

    Any ideas?

You've been creating low quality links that's why they are not showing up. The pages on which the links are carry no PR or authority and Ahrefs can't find them as a result. I suggest you build tier 2 backlinks using GSA.

Ahrefs and other crawlers find links on sites that are more popular first they also crawl more popular sites more regularly.

    .

Third party crawlers don't crawl all the domains on the web, only Google do that.

Thus, perhaps Ahrefs don't show those links, plain and simple due to the fact that they don't crawl those specific domains.

Put your links on popular websites or on pages that are already in their indexes.
