my site had been getting alot of traffic in the last 2 month but alexa data never changes
how long does alexa take to update

I recieve 3k machine traffic hits daily to boost it up abit but the rest are real visitors, also i had a site a couple of year ago and alexa started showing the traffic within a week thats why im not sure why its taking so long now

why waste time on what alexa has your site ranked for. That is not going to give you any more traffic.

Maybe Alexa just doesn't update for 3 months on new domains. That is one major possibility that I can think of.
Maybe he wants to eventually flip the domain or something so the Alexa ranking can be very important for that, or hundreds of other reasons.
