    Hi guys,

Ive got 25 web 2.0 accounts point to my money site. There are currently 2 links on each property, pointing to a small handful of pages on my money site.

I have been running a GSA campaign on my tier 1 links, using a 2nd and 3rd tier through GSA. Content for these tiers was created using Kontent Machine. I've been running the campaign for a week now, and haven't noticed any significant changes in my money site rankings.

I had moved up by 2-3 rankinds, hovering around the 20'th position, but these are going up and down by 2-3 positions almost daily, so nothing significant as of yet.

Competition is fairly low on the keywords im aiming at, the moz keyword difficulty for them are all under 45%.

How long would i expect to wait until i see some significant improvement on my money site rankings?

Nobody can predict exactly how long it will take. It could be a week or a month. Your best bet is to just continue building more and waiting it out.

Your link-building strategy sounds a bit too clinical - all Web 2.0s with 2 links each? Variety is the spice of seo...make sure you have OBLs to other niche sites (yes, even your competitors) and vary your anchors (including naked urls), try some unique written content and add a social element to your campaign. With this approach, you should see strong movement in a few weeks.

Don't forget to review your on-site seo:

    - rich original, content
    - well organised, breadcrumbs
    - videos, images, articles
    - reputation markers (faqs, contact page, privacy policy etc)
    - .xml sitemaps
    - clean code, fast loading time

    the list goes on....

Each of my web 2.0 articles has 2-3 external links. Every "quality" article has a link to a page on my money site (anchor varied from exact match keyword, lsi keyword, generic terms, brand name, domain & domain variations, related keywords). The other 1-2 links will contain links to external niche pages.

My quality articles are 500 words +, contain images etc

Some of my web 2.0 sites have over 10 pages of content. the rest of these content pages are introductory pages, about us page, contact us page, filler content, 150-300 words. All manual written or manual spun.

Some of my web 2.0 sites have just the quality article pages and an introduction / about us page. I am continually working on each of them.

Am i write to include a link to my money site in every "quality" article I push out?

So ive just dropped by 1 position on a few of my terms again today. (all in the early 20's).

Do i just need to give it abit more time, or continue adding some more links for now? I didn't want to build too many too quick, but nothing seems to be happening as of yet.

I still don't know why people use web 2.0s as tier 1. They are PR n/a and get lost in the billions of pages that are created every day.

Do not link out to your competitors (sorry SEOcrab, but this is mental). If you really want to link out then link to Wiki and try and edit your own link from wiki. Only outbound links should be social ones.

OP, if you want to get anywhere then think bigger. How do viral sites get ranked so quickly? A spike of insane links from everywhere. A buzz (social). Link velocity. Go big or get nothing. Get a new domain, get testing and go crazy until you know exactly what works.

My OBL are to wiki, social media (youtube pages, facebook pages), and random pages on sites in my niche that aren't focusing on the keywords im going for.

Im not really concerned with creating a "viral" site, as a spike of insane links, from what i've read is risky to do, and far easy to get penalised for, than actually maintain a positive ranking for.

Overtime with tier 2 & 3 links, the Tier 1 "PR n/a" as you put it, will receive PR also.

I had similar issues as you when i started with GSA.

You just need to wait it out and keep building those links.

Some of my sites took well over 2 months before they started to move significantly in the SERPS.

    Patience is a virtue :)

Mmmm all the above sounds pretty good.

    Some suggestions:

I would only do one link / article

Vary the article's lengt, dont only use 500 words article, play with it, use 500, 800, 1300, 600 etc, not less then 500 and only one link sometimes on end of the article and sometimes in the begin. Play also with the pictures.

And check you moneysite onpage seo, at least 2000 words content on mainsite.
Dont use spun crab on your moneysite.

My money site is all manual and unique. I write separate articles for my tier 2 links, and manually spin these.

My money site on page seo, using SEOYOAST all checks out. Money site article length varies from 500 words, upto 1500 words depending on the article. Some topics don't require a long article, if it was longer it would just be "fluff" content.

My tier 1 content is a minimum of 500 words, but typically range from 500-800.

Im only sending 1 link to money site per article, but im also sending links to wiki, social sites etc. This way my tier 1 doesn't look like a tier 1 to my site (if that makes sense)

    Thank you :).

I am moving onto new articles now. Im currently finishing off a manual spin, then will be sending that across my tier 1 web 2.0 profiles.

    A question to all -

My current main source of income is adsense, and i get a small amount from amazon assocaites also. I made about 70 dollars from adsense last month, and 15 dollars from amazon.

When should i look to diverse my monetisation tactics, and what should i look at next? PPD, or something else? Is it too early to focus on something else? Should i continue pushing traffic to my site, whilst gaining earnings from adsense at this stage?

No one can really predict how long it will take. It depends on Google update
    Wait for your good time
    Keep posting
    Best of luck

I haven't done this yet. I have scrapebox so will hunt out some blog posts and manually comment on them.

Should i add these pages to my GSA campaign, or just leave my own properties in GSA?

It is really difficult to say that how long it will take. It mainly depends on the Google result, posting, and patience. So keep it continued to post on the high PR blog posts.

It looks like G. is asleep, big time. 'Normally' this would work in 4-8 weeks, now it might be 4-8 months, and soon it will be 4-8 years.

I've been building 40 web 2.0's myself, same story. I started in June, and no gain, but a lot of pain.

Anyways, good luck, will keep an eye on your thread, and hope to learn something more.

    Cheers,
    Camouf
