How long after you remove "bad links" until your site goes back up in the SERPs?

    Let's say you got a link from a shady site and it was "unnatural" and your ranking went down. Then you remove that link. How long until your ranking goes back up?

    i would say 6 months if you were hit with a google penalty

    At least 90 days until you'll start to notice any recovery. Just make sure you take the proper precautions and build a strong campaign to boost you up faster.
