    Hey guys,

I've been noticing someone has been ranking for number 1 WITH a maps. How could they do this for generic terms?
I can't post links links but go to Google Canada and search for "vancouver wedding videos" and "toronto mobile welder"

They're ranking #1 because they're using an exact match domain and they're using a .ca extension on their domain name and they've probably gone the extra step to get Canadian based hosting for their site. Not to mention that that's more than likely a low competition keyword.

Kinda proves that on-page SEO doesn't really matter when you're way down at the low end of the competition spectrum, AND that EMD's make a big difference, despite all the talk to the contrary.

If you search for "dentist mississauga" eyesmile.ca is ranking number 1 WITH maps. So EMDs aren't in play. I wonder how they do this?

They optimized their site for google local listings. You need to get local citations from local directories and yellow page type sites.
