How is this done?

I see people uploading porn on this public ftp in my country which is mostly filled with warez. They password protect the supposed 'movies' and add a TXT file which tells them to send a SMS to a certain number in order to get the password. They never receive the password, of course, but they are charged some money. I can't seem to find services, which would provide affiliate programs for signing-up via sending SMS. I'm thinking that if I can't find this kind of an affiliate, I could make the horn-dogs sign-up 'to get the password'.

I think that this kind of this has been a lot with CPA offers where you need email + zip.

A lot of users get put off using this method but if you want to do it then it sounds as if they have set up a premium rate text number.

You could also just use Ringtone offers but as I said before you will probably have limited success.
