So I ordered this fiverr gig the other day where a guy uses senukex to creat a small web2.0 pyramid. When I got the report I noticed all articles he used were about the ipad, and the keyword I used is a kitchen appliance. I asked him why he did this and this is the response I got

The web properties are only a means for google to crawl and find your "KEYWORD REMOVED" anchor text - this is what matters. Since the web properties are not meant for humans to read, it won't matter if the articles are relevant. I've tested this theory on a number of my own sites and there is no difference between relevant and general articles for this kind of link building campaign - I can guarantee you :)

Is this true? I know the backlink will still count but isnt it much better is the content is related to the KW? What are your guys thoughs, and would you pay $5 for this gig?

The article content means next to nothing... the content is just so the web sites can approve your article and for the bots to crawl to catch your link.

I call the article content: Camouflaged Fodder.

Ya - I wouldn't worry about the content at all, and you should set realistic expectations when ordering a gig off of Fiverr. You paid only $5 for a SENuke submission, not that bad if I say so!

I'd recommend doing what you can to get those links/web properties indexed though otherwise you won't gain much benefit from the service.

Do you have something planned to get them indexed?

Thanks guys, guess I was wrong. I though having your link on a site with related content was much better. Since the content doesn't matter then this gig was well worth the $5 bucks.

So far Ive pinged all the links, added them to linklicious, and have been blasting the piss out of them with scrapebox.

This is interesting cos Vince of AMR was trying to sell me on the argument that article backlinks are better than sb backlinks cos they give you context relevant links.

    Guess he was just bullshitting.

In that case though is the 'context relevance' thing completely bunk? Is only the anchour text what is considered relevant in context relevance? What of this elusive 'latent semantic indexing' hypothesis?
