    As stated, How important is LSI for content? how to discover those LSI keywords etc.
    I got "keyword scout" and I was playing around with their LSI feature. The keywords generated off it doesn't make much sense.

    For example, if I use keyword "massage therapy", it will return results like "massage therapy massage", "cached massage therapy".
    I am not sure if those are even related...

    Thanks in advance.

    Well depends how important extra traffic is to you.
    If you have an authority site, probably worth more than a MNS site.
    With an authority site you'll be more likely to rank for long tail keywords.
    Usually I just put my main keyword in google keyword tool, and it will show me similar keywords.
    I will use the most searched for secondary keywords.

    Thanks jon

    Thats what I usually do as well. I never paid much attention to LSI, until I read about it recently.
    I simply focus 1 main keyword per 'page', and tag it along with a few 'secondary' keywords.

    About LSI, i really have no idea what those are. Are they the same as 'secondary keywords'?

    LSI = latent semantic indexing

    let's say your website is about apple recipes and you have a ton of apple based recipes.

    your other keywords and content could be about apple nutrition, apple peeling and cooking steps , pretty much anything that is related to apple recipes

    so your article could just hint upon other things that you would have content upon and then link to those pieces of content with those keywords.

    if you make just a post for each keyword, the visitor may stay on your site, reduce bounce rate and read a few more articles before leaving.

    Yeah pretty much. I never really paid much attention to it in the past either, but now I just give me writer the topic of the article, and I say, "also include these somewhere in the article, kw1, kw2, kw3". And it's done. Don't cost me anything, and increase chance of getting more visitors. Maybe not play a big impact, but I just created a 100+ page site. If I get an extra visitor per page per day, that's 3000 extra visitors per month.

    Thanks for your input.
    Isnt those similar to 'secondary keywords' then?

    Lets take your example "apple recipes". I would assume if I take this keyword and add it on google keyword tools;
    it will generate keyword ideas like "apple nutrition, apple peeling... etc." as well. In another words, is there a point doing keyword research specifically for LSI,
    or can we simply take some keyword ideas (secondary keywords) off google keytools?

    Thanks

    Man.. I think this is the one 'keyword scout' uses; I typed "massage" as seed keyword, and it returns the following:

    cached similar massage
    massage cached similar
    similar massage massage
    similar massage therapy
    massage therapy styles
    health massage cached
    business solutions privacy
    passionate experience getting
    massage therapy massage
    sites groups reader
    Honestly, I would say 90% of them arent related.
