    You already know the answer.

Does a "Normal" site have links from only one or two sources? No they don't and niether should you.

A normal site will over time (not in a couple of weeks) have quality content, inbound links from authority sites, Blog comments, Web 20, forum, other Blogs and will have a Diverse link profile (Pr0 through Pr4,5,6). It'll also have some do.follow outbound links.

I'm sure if you just blast a site with forum profiles and comment span you'll get ranked but how long will it last? Some will tell you keep blasting but why not just build links slowly and develop an asset that is worth something?

I use spamy links but only to tier 2/3 sites never my main money site they're always White Hat.

You want links from a lot of different IP addresses.

Can I "fake" lots of IPs doing massive blog commenting (nofollow + do-follow) ?

If i use tools like AMR, xrumer (posts + profiles), scrapebox, senuke, linkpushing.net on a brand new domain and go crazy with links, am i in trouble or not ? :)

I believe it would be better to blast links using automated tools to your tier 1 links such as web 2.0 or high PR article directories instead of directly to your website. Although there is no concrete evidence that sending automated links directly to money site is bad, it is better to be prepared for the future changes now rather than waiting for it to happen.
