Hey guys quick question. I had been uploading several videos to my main channel that I've had for years. So in theory an aged account. The channel's name is just some name I though of along time ago and is not related to anything. The channel had videos about street fights, star craft 2, baseball, insurance, ect. So in no way an authority. Lately I began to make some top ten videos and even created a separate channel with "top ten" in the channel name. I have three top ten videos in my main channel and I made the choice to migrate them to the specific channel. Now here is where I am confused. I uploaded the video and assumed that it would rank bad because it would be brand new in a brand new channel. Not to mention I had one of the old videos ranked with a back-link gig I bought on fiverr. However every video that I uploaded out ranked the old counterpart instantly! And in most cases as the 2nd ranked video in youtube! Is this because the keyword "top ten" was in the video and channel title? Or can youtube already distinguish this channel as an authority?
