So I'm starting my first blog and was wondering how important a aged domain vs just getting a new domain. I found a domain that fits my niche and contains my keyword it's parked and only has one back link but it's 9 years and 1 month old and it's only $12 at auction. Now does a aged domain have benefits even it there are no back links currently?

it typically has benefits because the links to it will be aged, the older it is the better because google knows if you have spent years working on a domain its much more likely to be a completely legitimate business

EMD is already taken. The thing that made wonder weather to by the aged domain is the fact that it is 9 years old but it also has no back links

Google really does like aged domains. It's just one more sign that the site is legitimate... as for your second question if it was banned you wouldn't be able to find it online ;)

got to admit it took a few years for Google to start liking me it doesn't like changes of topic neither that much so i would say age is quite important

Yes. You can flood it with thousands of backlinks within few hours. Aging
    is not that fast...

An aged domain with aged backlinks has been awarded tremendous amount of trust after the panda update. Even before that, it had trust. But now it is just incredible. Snag one if your pocket is deep. Trust me. It is worth it.

Ofcouse Aged Domain is More Beneficial As Compare To new Domain..Because Love Aged domain and You Can Also Do More Link building for Aged Domain..

If it is New domain Then You Will have to Wait or Do Slow Link building As it will take time to Rank.

    Thanks.
