Blog comments have been an effective way to get traffic & links for a long time, sadly so many people misuse them it's unbelievable.

Today I am going to show you how to get comments past the spam filters and approved on high quality blogs with no spam!

Please note, none of this is new, this a is a technique I have been using for a few years and it still works very well however don't expect to rank #1 using this technique it is just another weapon to add to your link building arsenal.

Also this won't work if your promoting porn/gambling/adult sites, it has to be clean!

    ----------------------------------------
    Things you'll need
    ----------------------------------------
    1) You're going to need a blog commenter, for this task I suggest ScrapeBox

    2) 1-2 hours to prepare (maybe less, maybe more, I don't know how quick you work!)

    3) Some imagination & creative thinking

    ----------------------------------------
    Preperation
    ----------------------------------------

    1) Visit your favourite news websites and find some stories that are blowing up (think huge stories like the Silk Road bust, NSA spying, xKeyscore, WikiLeaks etc). For this example we are going to use the Silk Road Bust.

    2) Make a list of potential headlines/keywords. For this example the keywords will be "Silk road bust", "Darknet drugs website silkroad", "Ross ulbricht", "Ross ulbricht silk road", "Ross ulbricht drugs", "Ross ulbricht dread pirate roberts", "Dread pirate roberts silkroad" "silkroad arrested". The more keywords you can think of the better.

    3) Find a news story with lots of comments and copy those comments into a text file in Scrapebox format (for this I am using Guardian, DailyMail & Telegraph). Spin them too, I prefer to spin by hand using HumanSpinner (best results) but you can use TheBestSpinner. You should create some of your own comments too (the more the better)

    4) Now you have your keywords and your comments start scraping targets in ScrapeBox. Personally I like to only scrape targets that are fresh (less than 30 days old as the success rate tends to be much higher) but you can scrape as much as you want.

    5) The final step in preparation is filtering your scraped list, you can do this manually or using excel. It depends on the size of list you scrape (doing a couple hundred by hand is fine, doing thousands is a pain!). Just have a quick scan through them and remove anything that's irrelevant or junk and remove duplicate domains.

    ----------------------------------------
    Lets start spamming!
    ----------------------------------------

    1) Setup your ScrapeBox campaign, for this example I have a list of 1900 targets to post my comment to. I use normal names or normal sounding names for my comments, i.e. in this case I was promoting a site directly related to the silk road so I used nicknames like "TheRoad" "MrSilk" "SilkyRoad" - don't stuff your names with keywords, they won't get approved.

    2) Hit start and go

    ----------------------------------------
    Results
    ----------------------------------------

I had a list of 1900 targets, ScrapeBox successfully posted to 1200 (fast poster & slow poster, captcha services enabled).

After 3 days I have over 250 approved comments on high quality sites with not a single other spammer in sight. Based on previous experience this should rise to around 400 approved comments after 10 days, that's a whopping 33% success rate.

    ----------------------------------------
    Top Tips
    ----------------------------------------

This technique will work for numerous things besides news stories. Think of all those gaming blogs that review new games when they come out, same applies to TV series, movies, music & a whole lot more. Get your thinking hats on.

Use private proxies! The more the better.

    ----------------------------------------

    Hope this was useful!

Since I can't rep you I will comment and say that I always like seeing when people think outside of the box.

I am pretty sick of stupid spammers and their garcinia cambogia or/and Viagra pills

Thanks, yeah some folks are crazy - I never understood why people persist with that spam, maybe 7 years ago when comment spam was in it's infancy but nowadays I don't see it being anything other than a waste of time & resources.

I keep track of both of those terms, none of the sites rank due to comment links, I am not slating people who promote those things (I've done it myself) just the dumb comment spammers who do.

The quicker you get a comment in after the post is live the better the chance you have of getting it approved
