As a marketer, I'm always looking for new and innovative ways to generate leads and attract clients.
Cold emailing has always been a part of my strategy, but I've always struggled with getting high open and response rates. That's when I started researching and experimenting with AI to create a personalized and targeted approach to cold emailing.
I run a digital consulting company majority of my clients are in the professorial services industry. For example attorneys, doctors, accountants, etc.
I decided instead of sending mass cold emails where everyone gets the same email. I'd incorporate AI to do the cold emailing on my behalf completely automated.
I created a script that goes something like this:
"Write an email and say: Hi (First Name),
I came across your firm (Firm Name) and was impressed by your mission (Company Vision) I relate to it because (Relation)
I've consulted many of the top law firms, such as (enter previous clients). We've been able to generate over $225M in revenue for our clients in the past 12 months.
Our tailored digital strategies are designed to increase your online visibility and maximize your ROI, so you can focus on delivering exceptional legal services to your clients. Let us help you grow your practice and reach your full potential.
If this resonates with you, please use my Calendly link to book a meeting. I look forward to having a virtual coffee with you! We're only looking to work with one firm in the (State they're located in)
Sign off
Attach a picture of a Starbucks cup with their name on it.
End Email."
So you guys are probably wondering how the AI gets all that info. I have two people on my team entering all that info into an excel file.
On average they get about does 20 per hour each. They work 8 hours per day so we send out around 300-320 personalized cold emails per day.
90% open rate = 288
35% response rate = 112
Once the info is added the process begins.
I just started another campaign where i'm cold emailing marketing agencies and telling them about my cold email process to sign them up on retainers and drive leads, and clients to them as well.
The analytics on that campaign isn't extensive enough for me to share however once the numbers come in I'll update this thread with that info.
Would love to hear your thoughts!
