yes i agree with your point, but i knew i can able to find the buyers. so didnt think to go for middle men.

The problem is that it is a programming language related blog. This was my first blog and I started it just for documenting. Just 20-30 posts. There were just 10-15 visitors per day in the initial months. And I got busy with my work and moved off from using that programming language also. The next time I looked was in a few months. And behold the site is first for many search terms outranking even the official documentation and even StackOverflow. (The language is just in growing phase which surely helped). But now since I am not in that domain I do not have the willingness to learn it just for the blog. And it is not a fairly used one or else I could have got someone else to work on it.

- Was that $300-$400 only through Adsense? Or did you monetise in different ways?
- How long was each blog on average? I'm interested especially in the one with 500 blogs - how many words altogether?

the problem with buyers , most of them sees only traffic but i had very low traffic but a stable income of $400 per month. I convinced the buyer its good and he agreed. this is what you need. Right buyer will sure understand if you have a really good product.

1) my major source of income was from sponsered ads and links, affiliates
2) keep it minimum 1000 words and make sure its not copy content. Also have a good onpage seo score.

Sounds ok and I'm glad you had a good experience, but if you had 500 articles on the website of at least 1k words, then you'd have at least 10k in content there. While the income multiplier sounds good for you, as that's about 20x monthly revenue, the content time/money cost seems to have negated most of your profit on the sale?
