Noone wants to click a long links full of numbers and /'s I haven't heard much talk about this on BHW so I thought I would share a quick method that I use to make lots of affiliate links.

    I use .tk domains
    Code:
    http://dot.tk
They're free, if you make an account you can keep track of the domains. I just do it to make it quickly relavent.
Example: If i'm promoting an Ipad CPA offer ill go to my dot tk, and make 5-10 quick .tk links like:
    freeipad . tk
    ipadgifts . tk
    ipadgiveaway . tk

just random, and you can put your affiliate links in these. I found that recently they changed it to where if you use a clickbank link they flag it as invalid, quick way around that is use a shortener on your clickbank link like tinyurl, and then put the tinyurl link in your .tk works like a charm.

Not saying this is the best method around but its quick and it works. I make multiple tk's for each affiliate link, so that I can rotate them around and its not the same link everytime.

    Hope this helps

If you use wordpress you can use pretty link or other plugins that does pretty much the name. It turn the link into something like yourdomaindotcom/getfreeIpad/ and it's redirected to your affiliate link. It also track clicks and everything so it's really great!

I don't know why but I lost 3 sales using dot.tk to refer to my affiliate link. I was not happy.

good info, pretty link is great for wordpress

with tk domains you don't have to already have a domain or a website.

Yeah, a lot of overseas domain extensions look fishy to people anymore, and they don't trust them. The .tk is especially abused on torrent websites.

I dont see a reason to use an external service when we have wp plugins and .htaccess for free.
