How I promote my own hosting business

hello everyone .
I have reseller account and everything are setup . landing page hosting plans SSL TOS .. etc
I started a month ago. to finish all these . I need to go to next step , Finding customers and gain trust .
promotion promotion all what I looking for , every hosting offers almost similar services but the different is how fast they reach customers .
I already setup Ad-words plan with similar relative keywords , but it kind expensive and results not always grantee . I don't ask for details tutorials but few tips and shortcut to straight road . I kinda blind with anything related marking and selling products as it my first experiments .

Do a freebie here, if they like your service they will be your customers. Say freebie for 6mo of hosting. Try it out! Good luck

Thats is one in my mind , but I don't have luxury offering large number of free accounts .

Web hosting business is very competitive. You should sign up to the big web hosting/domain talk forums and offer your services there. You will probably have to offer people a good deal in order to get some reviews rolling in.

Create some discount codes and then post the codes on relevant sites - First month for $1 or $10 for 1 year might tempt people to sign up

What makes your service different? As said here hosting is ultra competitive and you can get cheap hosting anywhere, free cpanel etc. etc. so you need to have a selling point. I for one would not go with a very small host as losing your data is even worse than saving a buck or so. So try to see what the other hosts suck with and work on being better there. Just on price you won't male it long term

A great way to promote your web hosting business would be to start a blog. A blog allows you to demonstrate your expertise to potential customers.

I have tech blog I write about WP servers issues etc but it have very few visitors . I'm thinking on advertise on some popular blog relative hosting/tech niche .

You are right about that , even web hosting/domain talk are full with tens of thousand offers . I still thins is am crazy to start hosting business , but I' have to do some chances and see .

My first concern is bring customers and build brand name so webmasters keep it their mind as alternative if they decided to move .. Personally I changed many webhsiting providers . I remember my self when I was noob know nothing about hosting website , so I know every Procedures clients move from (first I was impress with shiny name advertisement fake reviews like everyone else ) Then I started searching on real review for every hosting before I singup (that the way of experimented client who own sites for years).
for your question "what the other hosts suck with" my answer is Speed+Limitation .
The good Idea I have is offering elite host with latest modern hardware . and selling plans for 25$/m to cover expensive of E5-2670 Server e.g ... but I didn't reach that point because I don't have client yet .

First thing, you need to optimize your website for search engines, every page for appropriate keyword, which you can research through google adwords keyword tool, order keyword optimized content and create as many pages as you can, better to create blog as advised above. After you published keyword optimized content, try to promote each page through submiting it to free social bookmarking sites, web directories, article directories in order to get high ranking for each keyword. So you will get more traffic to your website through search engines.

There are a lot of ways you can promote your hosting business. As mentioned, you might need to be a part of several hosting forums/talks . Most importantly you need to have a strong technical knowledge base documented in your website which will make your business look good. And , yes, you will need to provide tempting discounts offer which should be advertised over the internet.

Say like 50 free accounts at this time in this month. Yu have to get reviews from hosting review websites also from reputed forums like this one (BHW) too.

Actually what attract people are freebies, competitive price, 24/7 support ,fake reviews.

You can adviertise , and you can do seo for getting new customer who need hosting

You have to go big for hosting business, or you need to spend big $$ for getting clients. Its not easy to comp with big gaints. This market is really over flooded.

Go for facebook advertising and do forum posts and paid press releases, it really gets you more web exposure and visitors.

SEO, word of mouth, paid advertising, niche forums

You have to be consistant on that and clients will find you.

the forums activity and posts and a good SEO campaign will do wonders. This worked for us and we failed in PPC and FB advertising. We did some pretty big campaigns and without results.
