Just to be sure...you use multiple gmail accounts and with each one you're sending a low amount of emails, right? (this is what you mean by "gmass"?)

I didn't buy them, i scraped them myself, over 100 million leads from instagram
Thats correct, i used multiple methods, the more consistent one was the gmass system, where i send low amounts per email account. Nowadays the numbers are different, but i used to send around 200 per account, after they were fully warmed up.

That all depends on how much data you need, in my case I needed millions of emails, therefore I needed a robust system personalized to my liking. Hired a programmer to make it for me on upwork
Nowadays there's warm up software that do it all for you. You just need to subscribe to one of those services, and your email accounts will be warming around for 10-15 days

Costs:
1. team expenses, i had a team replying to dms on Instagram, as i was receiving thousands of messages per day
2. Email marketing costs, I was paying around 600 dollars per million sends with a Chinese software i was using back in the days
3. Product and shipping costs, they were around 4-8 dollars max , both combined.
4. Scraping emails was by far the most expensive. I was paying thousands per month to maintain my system
5. General expenses, apps from shopify ect
These were mostly my biggest costs
for email marketing or scraping?

Let's talk more on emails, what did you use to scrape?
Chinese software company, why that? There's plenty good ones with unlimited sends, i'm just not sure how are the domain bans or blocks for large emails sends especially if you sending millions - yeah that's a lot.
What shipping service did you use and how fast was it?
How many were in your team and what were the challenges in maintaining this team?
What timezones did you work in? And how was your life schedule like, were you coping, mental health and physical health?
What was your BIGGEST lessons from this venture?
