How I made over $2000 in 10 days with one product, no advertising fees and no inventory

    Hey guys. Been a LOOOOONG time since I posted. I never wanted to post this in the "Make Money" section as it's more of a "what I did" rather than a "follow me" but I figured some may take some inspiration from it and some wont. Either way enjoy!

    Ok so this is a slight take on the aliexpress / eCommerce methods that have been going around lately. I wanted to try something a little different though as the majority of them want you to spend a mini fortune on facebook ads which I didn't want to do, Anyway here is exactly what I did.

    1. Went to AliExpress and found a product that was :
    - a) Cheap to source (ideally under $10)
    - b) from a gold seller
    - c) had plenty of sales before
    - d) looked like something I'd think was cool if I saw it anywhere else

    My exact niche was Japanese manga / anime figures (I know right! ... Someone who actually told you his niche!!)

    2. I purchased a .com domain name and purchased hostgator hosting (i used a 1 cent coupon) and set up a product page using wordpress and woocommerce just showing one product.

    3. I emailed a whole bunch of page 1 and 2 forums and sites that were into Japanese figures, manga, anime, statues etc and asked them if they would be interested in promoting the offer to their userbase for a percentage of the sales. Out of around 35 emailed only 4 said yes and only 3 actually did it.

    4. Once agreed I set up a custom coupon within woocommerce featuring the websites name so they could act as though it was an exclusive offer just for their userbase.

    5. Ok so it's the all important figures time.

    Item Cost from AliExpress : $6.75 + Free Shipping (I emailed the AliExpress seller and got a discount of a few dollars, every little helps right?)
    Item Cost on my offer page : $150 + Free Shipping (70% Off using coupons) = $45 (Yes it was a way over the top price but that just means the user thinks it's a much better deal than it is)

    Products Sold : 93 (Out of over 5000 visitors so it's definitely a numbers game this method)
    Total Income : $4185
    Amount paid to website owners : $930 (93 x $10) (I offered them $10 for every successful sale)
    Amount paid for products from AliExpress : $627.75
    Total PROFIT after Paypal, hosting, domain etc fees of : $2590.05

    And that's it. I now have 3 new contacts who are begging to work with me again, who have said they will step up the ad placement next time since they now know I'm legit.

    Rinse and repeat, try new niches, try a website dedicated to one niche ... whatever you choose is up to you.

    1. Order Process - Yes it's all dropshipping. When an order comes in via your website you just place the order on AliExpress with the customers details.

    2. Conversion Tracking - Woocommerce shows what coupon was used to purchase the item. I just counted the orders so I knew what to pay to which website

    3. Have customers got their items yet? - Yep. Infact I had a "show your love for the product" link on the page which allowed them to post photos onto the facecook page for the offer. The facebook page wasn't promoted at all it's purely there to add future credibility to my offers.

    4. How did you find their contact details? - Really? ..... Well ok I just went to their website and clicked contact ....

    5. Are customers unhappy that the products come from China? - Nope. They have no idea the product comes from China since it's all blind shipped. PLUS ... I added "Due to higher than expected demand these items will be coming direct from manufacturer please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

    6. Would running paid advertisements help sales? - Absolutely. If you wish to invest $$$ into it you can do so. But my methods are always for beginners so like to keep them cheap / free

    7. How do you handle returns? - Returns will always be a part of online business. If a return request is opened you refund the buyer the $45 and tell them to keep the item. It's not even a drop in the ocean in the grand scheme of things.

    8. What if the buyer does not get the item? - You refund them. Once again if you sell 90+ and have to refund even 5 .... big deal.

    9. Why did I not use facebook ads? - Because facebook ads require a steep learning curve, testing, money (which you may not get back at all). This is a 100% free way which clearly works.

    10. Did I have any refunds - Yep I had 3. Totaling $135 which I hardly missed since I made so much anyway.

    11. How can people pay 10x the original price? - Because not everyone shops like you do. Why do people pay full retail in high street stores when they can get the same product cheaper online?. Why do people buy from Amazon FBA for $$ more than normal. It's all to do with convenience. The offer is staring them in the face .... they will use it.

    12. You must have a good looking site for this to work? - Nope. Just a great deal. Wordpress and Woocommerce are some of the most professional looking stores around. This alone should tell you the site looks great from the get go but you dont need anything spectacular.

    13. Are you still doing this? - Yes I am. I now have 7 different offers running in 4 different niches. 7 different products but I do get bored easily and like to try new things.

    How did all the order process look like? Was it a dropshiping? Did you have any refund request? Was there any integration between woocommerce and aliexpress or did you processed all order manually?

    Why is it spam? It's actually true - this method can be used in EVERY niche you can think of and will never die simply because it's based on the principle of "buy low-sell high", which is the principle that fuels ALL of our civilization on this planet since trading was introduced by the first humans millions of years ago. The OP's genius twist is to let others do the work for him (like getting traffic) and all he has to do is press a few buttons ordering the products. Very well done OP!!!

    not only emails to random website/forum etc support teams, but you can try it also with Youtube content creators :) I've tried it in the past with weightloss products and it works great.

    Nice, there's a lot of people (including myself) making a ton at aliexpress/dropshipping. Never thought about emailing forum owners. Also thats a hell of a margin, have customers got their items yet? I would think that maybe the quality once delivered wouldn't be worth the $150 they sent thus charging back?

    Yes, exactly, there are even more sources where you can find webmasters to partner with. I can also add Facebook page/group owners, as I do that myself (but not for dropshipping) and it works. And besides FB, there is also IG (via shootouts or by partnering up), Twitter, Pinterest, etc... the possibilities are endless!

    I like this method a lot. You showed initiative and hustled which is always something that gets my respect. The only thing that might be a problem in the future might be some customers that would be unhappy with the fact that their item came from China and that it took quite long to arrive. Unless your supplier had a local fulfillment center which would solve all of those problems. Where were most of the orders from?
