Hello friends. iv been on here for a while but iv never really contributed so i deiced i would try and make a quick post today.
any ways i started a clothing site back in highschool 4 years ago and i didnt really have any success until my senior year which was 2015.
im going to try and make this as simple as possible.
basically i chose a niche for my clothing which was sneaker heads.
    why?
because if you know anything about sneaker heads or people who buy jordans they are willing to spend $150-$10,000 for a a pair of shoes.
i basically looked at the culture a bit and then chose items i felt would sell to this demo.
Instagram has been my main source of traffic.
basically all i would do is purchase shout outs.
i did a little research to find out when my followers were online so i would know exactly when to post my products and i did the same for every promo account i used.
at my peak i had a list of 100+ accounts i would use to promo.
i would basically send out a mass email to all these accounts with the image and caption and then pay them once they replied saying they would post.
make sure that the accounts your useing to promote are real and have real and active followers otherwise their is no point in paying them to promote.
also i would suggest saving up a bit of money to invest in promos. for example my biggest promoter had 1.2million followers in my niche and would charge me $350 a shout out but i would easily make back my money and then some everytime he posted.
also i suggest talking to your promoter and seeing when their followers are most active.
most really big accounts know when all their followers are online to post for maximum effect.
so you would only need to simply as when and ask for your shoutout to be posted at peak time
this method is very simple you just need to be aggressive and take some initiative.
i suggest when your account reaches a certain amount of followers you first post products to see how your followers react. if they like it chances are when you pay to promo it on other accounts it will also have good results .
once you start doing this the money will start rolling in.
all ways make sure to stay active and post on your account

How did you deal with taxes when drop shipping? I assume since you source from china, then you would only collect taxes in your home state right?

Just started a similar project but in the exercise niche.

I am very curious to as what you sold them? These people are so incredible on top of their brand loyalty / authenticity it's unreal.

    - I am very aware it's a clothing store.

    - also did you ever have any issues with the shipping delays?

Real nice way to match clothes to the niche there.

Are you still running this business?

I'm currently setting mine up with the alix API - WordPress and Woocommerce. My main issue is with Paypal. Have they ever contended you?

Per sale offers are starting to take this industry by storm in creative ways.

Nice boost you got there, sometimes scaling volume of requests can make a serious difference... Keep pushing!

i never had an issue with paypal until my account became overdrawn. before i started useing the account with woocommerce i had already had ut for 5-6 years. Im still running it currently but i ran out of money for shoutouts so im considering starting a part time job to save up and start again. im also thinking the new wish app is takeing away from my sales because some items i have are on their for a lot less. but im planning on doing my own unique designs. im also trying to get into facebook ads because i noticed alot of business it my niche dont use them or dont have much of a presence on facebook/twitter.

Nice story, although I wish you would have provided a proper screenshot. I can barely read the thing, lmao. Did you just take a picture of your monitor?

Anyway, it looks like 806 transactions, so on average about 60$ a sale. Not bad.

Nice method and glad you utilize Instagram. I think more people on here should be open to IG or should I say incorporate it more often, I love it. Anyway, Good job!
