Hi guys,
This is one of the method I used before 5-6 months successfully. I gave up on youtube after that due to constant flagging war between us and some other guys doing the same method and actual youtube viewers so don't really know if it will work anymore or not.
The method was getting to front page of youtube i.e to be between those trending videos. There is no rocket science behind it, and most of the time it was hit and miss, atleast for me. What I did exactly was to upload a unique video on a pva, and then write good title, description etc. Secret source was geo targeted high retention views. I used to get views from rouall, skittles and socialsbox (I'm in no way affiliated to them and I don't know if their service is up or not). My friend had success with BigBuddy's service too. It would cost me around $20 to buy 10k geo targeted high retention views. So you have to target one specific country, say Italy. And upload italian video with italian title and desription. Then buy Italian high retention views. Atleast 10k and all in one day, so it might look like a viral video to youtube and hence end up showing on homepage of youtube under the category you upload it to.
Your best bet would be to go into "gaming" and "How to and style" categories.
My niche was "How to" kind of niche and my video explained how they can solve certain problem with certain games. I monetized them via content locking a guide. I made the video by recording my desktop, showing the working of the tool that would solve the certain problem with that game.
What i did was each time video was taken down, I would simply spin the video to change md5 hash and put a different picture in center of video, so that I get new thumbnail, and hence video would appear to be new one.
Initially I would just upload 1 video everyday and buy views hoping I might get lucky and get on homepage. Later I started scaling it up. Since not all videos were getting on homepage, what I did was upload 5 videos and boost them, so that would be $100. One out of 5 would get on homepage and end up making me $500-700. I uploaded only 1 video per pva.
But as I stated, due to constant flagging, i gave up on it, and focused on seo. I completely forgot about the method, until I saw this image, and decided to share it. This is one of the days when my video was on homepage.
Some guys did even big numbers with the method, but I was stupid and was careless. I was too late to scale it up. Hopefully someone draws inspiration from it and end up making money.
Thanks for reading.
