    Facebook release their pro-facebook propaganda.

    Laughable bullshit.

The first thing I thought was it doesn't look professional to promote a company on a free tumblr site, but then:

    Love this comment

Does Brendan Irvine-Broque realize he just declared $10k profit... or a $3,500 to $4,000 balance due the IRS by publicly declaring the income?

I'm not going to do it but there IS a 50% of the penalty collected reward for turning someone in for IRS tax evasion. If he didn't already trigger an audit by an agent who's not happy with Facebook (perhaps one who's been burned by the stock), he may want to reach-out and get IRS publication 525 to learn about the liability he just created for himself.

What makes you think he didn't declare it?

Anyway, not like it matters: the story is ficticious.

Yeah, I thought the story smelled shady for the start. It didn't look like the typical fodder you would find on Digg.

    1. Nobody who is a record collector sells them.
    2. At least nobody who is a record collector sells them for $3 each.
    3. I am shocked, SHOCKED i tell you, that Facebook would pull a stunt like this.

(that last one was sarcasm, for you serious folk)

If someone sold his car today on Facebook he could make $20k, depending on the value of the car of course. What's new?

Exactly. How are you an entrepreneur for that? Retarded journalism.
