Yes, how do you compete with such a large company? considering that they offer a great free plan and you sell the premium plan at the same price. Why would someone switch from Linktree to your webapp?

I offer some advantages
- Show recent instagram posts from any account and add a link for each posts ( Ex product post to product url )
- Better landing pages than linktree, all of those link in bio have the same structure, nothing cool.

This is also a really really small percentage of the cake, linktree valuation is at 1.3B and had a revenue of 37M during 2023 reaching 10k per month is only 0,324% of 37M which does not require something that really breaks the market but just hit a pain point

oh I understand! makes sense! And how did you see that there was an opportunity? Since it is something very complex to have to manage the APIs of so many social networks? added to when they update the APIs.

I haven't seen too many changes on IG related to fetching profile information.

I wasn't specifically looking for that opportunity, just found that it was a good combination of skills plus I was looking for a decent link in bio in the past and all of them look the same with different colors.

interesting! but do you focus exclusively on instagram? I thought it was more social networks, that's why I saw the problem of managing many APIs.

How are you coming? Any update on new subscriptions?

Yes, not interested on trying to pull emails from other sources.

Doing 10-25$ daily with no marketing trying some tools for email marketing

Have you thought about doing 1$ paid free trials? Maybe if you charge customers 1$ for 3 or 7 days trial and if they do not cancel their subscription before the time is over, start charging them the full subscription price, if you think your product is good enough then charging them 1$ at start instead of the full price may increase your sales and conversion rate. I think you should give it a try.

Appreciate your suggestion but I would prefer doing a free trial of 3 days and then charge people. However I'm not a big fan of doing that because there are some indie hackers which had better results after removing free trial

To add to that if you do automatic charges and get a lot of chargeback your payment provider might ask you some questions/ disable service

10-25$ per day, is 1-2.5 new users in your sass? That's a lot over time if your percentage of people who unsubscribe is low.

Update
Curated a list of 1k leads highly targeted for a new plan, bought a domain to send domains and a new platform that allows to send the emails.

Will warmup the emails and send the 1k later this month a 1% conversion rate will be enough to make a decent profit.

Why I moved from SMTP script?
Used SMTP script to validate the business but now I want to build a brand also can do warmup, tracking, etc with the new platform I am using

Never had problems with chargebacks will worry about it once the service grows more

you could just build a list and scale your products
spam emails don't work that great

It's small but those are scrapped emails and address sending emails were only 0.5$ each one

Sorry if someone asked already and I didn’t see, but, why are you emailing instead of just DM’ing on IG? Especially from a profile that uses your link SaaS in profile so they can see it used?

There are lots of other salty comments here about the $/mo so I ain’t hatin, I wanna see you crush it. Cold email doesn’t seem like best approach for growth in my humble opinion
